How FreeStack makes money
FreeStack is reader-supported. Some links on this page are affiliate links - if you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we write: every verdict comes from actually running the tool, and the limits we list are the ones we hit ourselves.
In plain terms: some of the “Try it free” buttons on our review pages are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, the vendor may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the vendor never sees, edits or approves our review.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Disclosure next to the link. Every affiliate button is marked with an affiliate note right beside it, not buried in a footer.
- Tested before linked. We only link to tools we have run on a real project. No review, no affiliate link - ever.
- Verdicts are not for sale. A commission cannot buy a higher score, a softer “catch” section, or a missing limit. The limits we list are the ones we hit ourselves.
- Free means free. We only recommend tools whose free plan we actually used. If a tool paywalls the thing we tested, the review says so.
