What $0 gets you
Every number below is from the vendor's own pricing page, Recorded form test October 6, 2026; https://www.fillout.com/pricing and https://www.fillout.com/terms checked October 13, 2026.. Not marketing copy - the actual limits.
The review
We built an original fictional light-studio form with a required Indoor space or Outdoor space choice. In the actual recorded preview, choosing Indoor space displayed How large is the indoor room? Switching to Outdoor space removed that question and displayed How large is the outdoor site?
The test also selected a light style and entered text. We do not claim each light-style option triggers a different question. The recorded indoor/outdoor switch is the specific logic result we verified.
We checked desktop and mobile previews and adjusted the form appearance and original studio logo. Those are editor and private-preview observations, not proof the styled draft can be published on Free.
The account showed a Free allowance of 1000 responses per month. Current pricing includes unlimited forms, unlimited questions and conditional logic on Free. Custom themes, custom endings and adding a logo are listed as paid features. Removing Fillout branding is also a paid-plan distinction.
A local submission attempt stopped at a normal security check. An alternate private preview reached the ending, but the results view remained empty. We did not verify a persisted response or populated CSV, so this review does not say a submission was saved.
Our verdict: fast form building with an easy-to-see branch change. The missing stored-response proof and paid styling limits must be checked before this becomes a production workflow.
The catch
Custom themes, custom endings and adding a logo are paid features in current pricing. Preview access did not prove Free publication eligibility. No stored response was verified.
