Kineo free trial review: one sentence, one 14-second film

Kineo turned one robot-gardener prompt into a fourteen-second film with generated scenes, voice and captions. We downloaded the watermarked MP4 without buying a plan. This review covers that one trial film, not the full product.

Our October 6 account showed ten trial credits and a seven-day trial. The Film route used Seedance 1.5 with a fifteen-second setting. It spent nine credits and produced a fourteen-second output. The saved native file is 14.29 seconds. These numbers describe this render, not every video.

The film had a clear visual idea, but the robot changed across scenes. It was white and round in the garden, wore a black helmet while watering, and was silver with an orange light on the rooftop. The prompt asked for one robot. Check this if your story needs a recurring character.

The free MP4 had a watermark. Clean downloads required a paid plan. The recorded in-product panel offered Starter at $12.90 per month. The current public pricing page lists Starter at $9.90 per month USD with sixty monthly credits, checked October 10, 2026. Annual Starter is $6.92 per month, billed yearly. Credit costs depend on the selected engine and duration. Promotions are separate; the video does not promise an annual rate.

The ten trial credits are given once in supported countries, not every month. Current pricing says the residual free plan grants no credits and no premium AI-generated videos. We did not verify continuing Kineo1 free-engine access after the trial.

We did not test the other engines, Clip route, saved characters, image generation, voice generation or enhancement. We also did not test the public free script generator, comment-to-script tool, product-ad script tool, business planner, client brief tool, hook generator, title and hashtag tool, script timer, viral score or money calculator. Free-feature coverage is unfinished and reserved for a later review.

The current Terms allow lawful personal or commercial generation and say generated videos and prompts belong to the user. The Trust Center says stock clips may be used inside finished videos, not redistributed as standalone footage. Review each output and obtain rights to uploaded faces, voices and other material. This is a summary of current vendor policy, not a blanket clearance for third-party content.

Our verdict: useful for a quick first film from one idea. The downloadable result is meaningful value at no charge. The one-time allowance, watermark and changing character make it a trial, not a recurring free production workflow.
