Two captioned clips from one video for two credits. Saving and download opened paywalls in our test.

What $0 gets you
Plan facts checked October 10, 2026; paywalls and crop limits are recorded account observations from October 6.
The review
We uploaded one fictional 80-second Glass Garden source video, selected English and clicked Generate Clips. quso.ai produced two clips in under two minutes. The recorded credit balance changed from 75 to 73. That is a two-credit cost for this job, not a fixed price for all videos.
The first clip was 33 seconds long. It had a vertical crop, captions and a score of 99. The second was 45 seconds and scored 75. Those are quso.ai scores, not FreeStack ratings or proven predictions of audience performance.
The editor let us change the headline and captions. We changed the headline to make clear that the tool mentioned in the source was fictional. In the preview, the quso.ai watermark sat over the headline.
When we selected Save Draft, a plan page opened. Download opened another paid-plan screen. We did not obtain a downloaded output in this test. These are observations from the recorded account, not a claim that every current free route has identical restrictions.
The second clip cut some labels from the original source. We saw only part of its playback, so we do not describe it as fully verified. Check the whole clip, crop, timing and captions before you publish.
Current pricing lists 75 monthly credits, 720p render quality, chapters and short videos, TikTok publishing, CutMagic and seven days of data retention on Free. We did not test all those routes. Lite is listed at $29 per month billed monthly; the $19 monthly headline is billed yearly. Source: https://quso.ai/pricing, checked October 10, 2026.
Our verdict: a useful no-cost test of clip selection and captions. The watermark, paywalls encountered and cropped source labels mean our result is not proof of a finished free publishing workflow.
The catch
The first clip had a watermark over the headline. Saving the draft and downloading opened paid-plan screens in the recorded account. The second clip cut some source labels and was not fully checked in playback.
quso.ai free plan: questions people ask
Does FreeStack treat the clip score as its own rating?
No. The 99 and 75 scores came from quso.ai and are not FreeStack ratings.
Did this test produce a free downloaded clip?
No. Download and Save Draft opened paid-plan screens in the recorded account.
Useful for trying automated clipping and captions, but our test did not establish a free saved or downloadable result. Inspect crop and captions before relying on a clip.
