Fliki: what the free plan really gets you
Text-to-video with AI voices. Free forever, 3 credits a month.
Watch the actual test
We made a real free-plan video, checked the credit meter after voice and export, then measured the cost of a four-word edit.
What $0 gets you
Every number below is from the vendor's own pricing page, fliki.ai/pricing and our free-account test, checked September 27, 2026. Not marketing copy - the actual limits.
The review
What Fliki’s free plan gives you. Fliki turns a script, blog post, or slide deck into a voiced video. Its free plan is free forever with no card: 3 credits a month, 300 voices across 80+ languages, stock media, AI images, and 720p exports with a Fliki watermark.
How much is free? The pricing card says 3 credits a month. Usage varies with the workflow and edits, so we measured it rather than treating a credit estimate as a fixed video quota.
What 3 credits bought us. In the filmed manual rerun, Usage went from 1.39/3 to 1.63/3 after generating a 56.2-second Jane voice (+0.24), then to 1.72/3 after exporting a 720p, watermarked MP4 (+0.09). The finished manual clip therefore cost 0.33 credits. That is about 0.35 credits per finished minute, or roughly 8.5 minutes on a three-credit budget at the same rate, without edits. It is not a promise for other workflows: a separate AI builder run used 0.83 credits and clipped part of the script.
Every edit can cost again. We added four words to one line and regenerated the voice. Usage went from 1.72/3 to 1.95/3, another 0.23 credits, almost the original 0.24-credit voice cost. An earlier 54-second test showed a similar 0.24-credit edit. Credit spending depends on the action, script, and changes.
Other free limits. The export we tested offered 720p MP4 only and kept a Fliki.ai watermark. Many stock video clips appeared locked to paid plans. A first AI Script-to-video attempt had network errors; a filmed retry made a 1:10 editor result but warned that some script had been clipped. The later manual run produced a full watermarked file.
Commercial use. Fliki lists commercial rights on paid plans, not Free. Do not assume a Free export is licensed for a monetized YouTube channel, an ad, or client work. Check Fliki’s current license terms before publishing commercially.
Paid plans and current pricing. Standard is the first paid tier with commercial rights, 180 monthly credits, and 1080p exports. Pricing and promotions change. Check Fliki’s current pricing through the button below before upgrading.
Verdict. The free plan is a useful test bench for personal videos and learning the editor. The small credit pool, charges for regenerated voice, watermark, and commercial-use limit make it a poor fit for a polished monetized production.
The catch
Credits depend on workflow and edits. Regenerating after four added words used 0.23 credits in our filmed rerun, nearly the initial 0.24-credit voice take. Free exports are 720p with a watermark; commercial rights come with paid plans.

Real frames from our filmed Fliki free-account Usage screen. The video above shows the intermediate readings and the actions between them.

Filmed manual test before generating the voice: Usage 1.39/3 credits. This is a frame from our Fliki screen recording, not a mockup.

After the manual voice, export and four-word regeneration: Usage 1.95/3 credits. Voice used 0.24, export 0.09, regeneration 0.23; see the full video for the intermediate readings.
Fliki free plan: questions people ask
Is Fliki really free?
Yes. The Free plan needs no card and lists 3 credits a month, 720p export, and a watermark.
How many videos can you make with Fliki free credits?
It depends on the workflow. Our 56.2-second manual video used 0.33 credits, but a separate AI builder attempt used 0.83 credits, and regenerating after a four-word edit cost 0.23 credits. There is no fixed number of videos.
Can I use Fliki free videos on YouTube?
For monetized videos, verify the license first. Fliki lists commercial rights on paid plans, not Free.
Does the Fliki free plan have a watermark?
Yes. Our Free-plan export had a Fliki.ai watermark.
A real free tool, not a demo. We made and exported a finished, voiced video for $0. Use it to test voices, learn the workflow, and make personal videos. For monetized videos, ads, or client work, check the paid commercial license first.
